We acknowledge and honour that the Roxy theatre and our city is located on Treaty 6 land, which is traditional territory of the Nêhiyawak and a traditional home to the Niitsitapi, Nakota, Dene, and Anishinaabe. As well as an important trading centre and home to the Métis people of Alberta. We also recognize and are honoured to be Treaty people; therefore, we seek to uphold the spirit and intent of Treaty and strive to live in good relations based upon the Treaty principles of Peace, Friendship, and Respect.
